direct psychiatry — Direct Psychiatry

How I treat

My approach is practical, evidence-based, and tailored to you. The goal is to reduce symptoms and help you function better in the areas that matter most.

Comprehensive evaluation

We begin with a detailed conversation about your symptoms, history, goals, and what has or hasn’t helped before. For ADHD, this may include validated screening tools and review of childhood and current symptoms.

Shared treatment plan

You will receive a clear diagnosis when appropriate, an explanation of options, and a plan that reflects your priorities. I explain the benefits, risks, and expected timeline of any recommendation.

Ongoing support and follow-up

Regular follow-up visits let us track progress, manage side effects, and adjust the plan. Most patients are seen more frequently early in treatment and then spaced out as things stabilize.

What I offer

  • Adult psychiatric evaluation
  • Medication management for ADHD, depression, and anxiety
  • Supportive therapy and coping-skills coaching
  • Sleep, stress, and lifestyle planning
  • Coordination with therapists and primary care providers

Medication is a tool, not a requirement

Medication can be very effective, but it is only one part of care. When appropriate, we also discuss therapy, sleep, exercise, nutrition, stress management, and work or relationship patterns. The plan is built around what you are comfortable with and what the evidence supports.
